I’m looking for some travel companions to do a road trip with in north america this summer. I would to get a few people together so we can buy a car and travel around. I can leave as early as the first week of June and stay until the end of August. I’m open to suggestions on which route to take and where to start off and end the trip.
I enjoy nature as well as larger cities, there are some amazing national parks in the united states that I really want to visit, but I enjoy a wide variety of activities and are open to most suggestions.
I’m a 24 year old student from Sweden, easygoing and been traveling in the united states before. I’d like to do the trip on a rather strict budget; camping, couchsurfing and staying at motels to keep costs down.

I’m a 24 year old girl interested in your plan. I do love exploring the States, especcially the west coast with LA, San Francisco, HOllywood, Las Vegas. The best way to do it is by couchsurfing.
I had some great experiences with it, even though it was a first time.
I can go for 2 weeks, starting on August 1st (due to my job in Belgium). Is this too short for you?

Yes, two weeks are too short for me. I’m still not sure how/where I’m going to travel, but it might be possible for you to join up for two weeks in august. I’ll keep you posted if anything comes up.
I am planning with a friend in aug for one month. I have been living in the States before …Fresno and pasadena. are going to rent a 4x4 and travel from san Francisco to LA-Las Vegas-Mexico border etc. still looking for companionships who are willing to travel with us (and share costs). no low budget travelplans…staying in good hotels/ motels. B&B maybe. interested?
