It’s almost time
Dear everyone,
After weeks of preparations it is finally time for me to go to South-Africa, I’m leaving on the evening of may 5th. However the preparations so far have been very chaotic. But I think all the major issues have been addressed and I only have to figure out what I need to take with me and fit it in my suitcase.
For those of you who don’t know what I’m getting myself into yet, here’s a short description of the project I’ll be staying at in a place called Amanzimtoti:
“One little woman, one big heart and an even bigger difference, Palm Tree Care Centre is the lifework of Ros Visagie. She started this Centre sixteen years ago. What started as a childcare centre for kids in the neighboring poor townships, developed to be a very special family. Ros’ family consists of 15 Zulu children varying in age from 7 till 15.”
So, I’ll be helping these kids with their homework, try to entertain them during the spare time they have, and of course there will be many more things to do. On this blog I’ll share all my experiences during my stay at Palm Tree.
Lots of love!
