Wij (mijn vrouw en ik; beiden 65 jaar) hebben de volgende vakantiereis met de eigen auto door Slovenie en Kroatie ingepland:

Pula - 3 dagen
Jezerce - 3 dagen
Sibenik - 5 dagen
Markarska -3 dagen (verste punt) dan terug via

Zadar - 2 dagen
Senj - 2 dagen
Zagreb - 3 dagen
Ljubljana - 2 dagen
Terugreis via Oostenrijk en Duitsland - 2 dagen.

Heeft iemand tips voor wat we in ieder geval moeten zien/doen?

Hoi

Heel leuke route en afwisselend, mooi langs al die plaatsen met veel natuurschoon. Ik zou als jullie in Sibenik zijn een bezoek brengen aan het nationale park Krka en zeker ook naar Trogir gaan, maar dat zal vast al op jullie lijstje staan.

Vanuit Makarska kunnen jullie met de ferry naar het eiland Brac of Hvar gaan om dat te bekijken. In Split is er ook van alles te zien, de oude stad en er zijn veel musea. Split is de twee na grootste stad van Kroatië (na de hoofdstad Zagreb).
Vanuit Pula kunnen jullie naar het nationale park Brijuni, en de overige kustplaatsen in Istrië zijn ook erg leuk om te bezoeken, zoals Porec en Rovinj.
Ik weet niet in welke periode jullie gaan, maar bezoek ook de websites de lokale toeristen bureaus voor evenementen en festivals op de plaats waar jullie zijn. In de zomermaanden wordt er vaak van alles georganiseerd.

TROGIR “HAND” Fair - May 24 2018 to May 27 2018
From the 24th of May to the 27th of May 2018. in Trogir there will be an event „Hand“ (Heritage, Artcrafts, Nature, Domestic). The event contains several segments: from presenting arts and crafts, traditional crafts, local cuisine and drinks at the fair to the entertainment program from folk customs and traditional dances and music.

Zagreb Animafest Zagreb - Jun 4 2018 to Jun 9 2018

Animafest Zagreb – World Festival of Animated Film is taking place from 4 to 9 June 2018 at several locations in Zagreb. The 28th Festival edition brings us six unforgettable days of different competition programmes, retrospectives, presentations, exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and many more side events that offer plenty of opportunities for networking. As one of world’s most famous animated film festivals, Animafest Zagreb will give you a complete insight into international animation production as well as plenty of side events at various locations in the city.

Rijeka - Fiumare - May 30 2018 to Jun 6 2018

Fiumare, the sea and maritime tradition festival of Kvarner, taking place between 30 May and 6 June, will “take us back a 100 years” once more, when the Mrtvi kanal (Dead Channel) was an everyday intensive trade route. Connecting the maritime and trade traditions of the past with our times, Fiumare will again be a sort of a time machine in authentic locations such as the Dead Channel and Verdijeva Street. The pre-programme, taking place from 24 to 27 May, will include the lecture “Maritime Customs and the Contemporary Presentation of Traditional Boats” in the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral Rijeka, with the opening of the photography exposition on the Botel Marina, and the 6th lake regatta with traditional sailing boats in Lokve.
