Is it possible to go to la Leona ranger station from Drake Bay by boat?
we want to do the hike from la leona to sirena ranger station.

Most hotels in Drake Bay offer trips to the rangerstations in Corcovado.
we want to do a hike with the two of us, without any tour.
we are going to travel from san jose to drake bay by bus and boat. after drake bay we want to take the boat to la leona. from there start walking to sirena ranger station. I have read about all the possibilities to take the boat to sirena and start walking from sirena to other villages. but we want to take the boat to la leon and then start walking to sirena.
don’t see anywhere information about this possibility.
who knows more about this option?

you are not allowed in hiking through Corcovado without a guide.

In the National Park Corcovado it is not allowed hiking without a guide.
It is because several people never came back from their hike and it cost the gouvernement a lot of money looking for you in that big park.
Do we need to hire a guide in advance for hiking in Corcovado?
Where can we do that? we want to sleep one night in corcovado, do we need to arrange this in advance?
