Hallo Ilya,
Mijn Vraag
Hello Ms Nhi,
Thank you again for your last answer.
The people were very happy with that.
Now I have , I think, a difficult and many question for you?
But I got a big trust in you.
I did a question about tours for Son Doong Cave ( biggest cave in Viet Nam ).
There are some travelling bureaus where can book this tours.
But I saw on internet that is was just adventures tours, and is it a big part of the cave you can visit or just some meters?
Can it also be visited with some luxery?
Can I and Gert do that tour when we want with our wanted luxury?
Is it expensive?
Can it booked by BT?
Ms. Nhi,
Lot of questions sorry.
Can you help me out?
Haar antwoord hierop
Dear Mr. Ton,
Sorry for my late reply. I just backed to my home and forgot to set “out of office - automatic reply”.
Regarding Son Doong cave, till now it has not been allowed for tourist. That means, no travel company can run the trip until further notice from Vietnam government.
However, Buffalo Tours and another travel agencies can organise the visit to Paradise Cave, Phong Nha Cave, ect. I’m not sure if you have visited it before?
Best regards,
Nhi
Hierop mijn volgende vraag
Hello Ms. Nhi,
Thank you for your answer.
I did get this site , and the question.
What do you think about this tour?
http://www.activetravelvietnam.com/tour.php?op=detail&tourId=71
Is it a real visit in to the cave, are just a tour to a near by cave?
Hope again you can help?
Best regards
Ton.
Haar antwoord
Dear Mr Ton,
Follow to the site you gave me, I just contact Vietnam Adventure and have some information for you:
(1) Tourists have not been allowed to visit Son Doong Cave till now.
(2) People such as research scientist, botanist, physical geography researchers, ect. can get the Approval letter from Local Authority to visit the cave.
(3) Vietnam Adventure (the agent you recommend me) can help you to get the Approval letter. After booking, they will apply to Local Authority, and confirm to you if your application is accepted or not.
(4) To visit Son Doong cave, clients need to have at least 03days (starting from Dong Hoi - Quang Binh). You can find the 03 day tour itinerary as on the site.
(5): Tour price is 990 USD per person, applied for private trip within 02 travelers. People who will be on the tour with clients would be: 01 travel agent staff, 02 porters, 01 forest warden, 01 of National Park Management, and Mr. Ho Khanh - a local person who first found the cave. (The company will arrange all of them to go with you)
(6): Here is the travel agent I spoke to, Mr. Kien +84 9798 00588. IF you would like more information just let me know. I’m more than happy to help, you know my knowledge now is increasing for Son Doong destination :), thanks to you.
Best regards,
Nhi
