Het**Turkije portaal** (E-Devlet) heeft tegenwoordig ook een Engelse uitleg. Onmisbaar voor iedereen die voor langere tijd in Turkije gaat verblijven, wil bankieren of zaken doen.

Om als buitenlander toegang tot de faciliteiten te krijgen moet je eerst een verblijfsvergunning hebben. Met je identiteitsnummer wat daarop staat ga je naar het postkantoor en koopt voor 1 lira een activeringscode.

Je kan via deze site je ziekenfonds (SGK) volgen, verklaringen van goed gedrag (sabıka kaydı) van de rechtbank zelf uitdraaien, het verloop van aan jou of door jou geopende rechtszaken volgen, je geregistreerde adres controleren, controleren of je achterstallige betalingen hebt bij de belasting, zien of er verkeersboetes op je naam staan (je kan geflitst zijn) en nog veel meer.

The e-Government Gateway is a website offering access to all public services from a single point. The aim the Portal is to offer public services to citizens, businesses, and government agencies in an efficient and effective manner through information technologies.
[HR][/HR] What is e-Government? E-Government is the electronic offering of services normally rendered to citizens by the Government. This way, the Government targets offering its services to the citizens through the easiest and most effective means possible, in a high quality, speedy, uninterrupted, and secure way. With the e-Government concept that has started to replace the bureaucratic and classical government concept, the aim is to offer every government agency and every individual easy access to systems using information technologies and to Government agencies and services offered by these agencies.

The aim the Portal is to offer public services to citizens, businesses, and government agencies in an efficient and effective manner through information technologies. The service ensures users to have easy access to services they need. With this service implemented, Government services in Turkey will be offered to the citizens in the easiest and most effective means possible, in a high quality, speedy, uninterrupted, and secure way.

[HR][/HR] How can I benefit from electronic services offered at the e-Government Gateway? To be able to benefit from the services offered through the e-Government Gateway, you have to apply to PTT Centers together with residence permit paper bearing your Foreigner number.
[HR][/HR] Who manages and operates the e-Government Gateway in Turkey? The duty and responsibility of setup, management and operation of the e-Government Portal in Turkey lies with the Türksat Satellite Communications Cable TV and Operations Co., Inc. on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation.

[HR][/HR] How shall the Citizens be able to use the e-Government Gateway? You can have access to two types of services through the e-Government Portal. For access to contents offered for informational purposes, simply write the www.turkiye.gov.tr address and view the page. The e-Services are public services offered electronically. You will need a password, an e- signature or a mobile signature for access to personal information or to e-Services requiring authentication. You can have many e-Services from the same address with a single authentication (password, e-signature and mobile signature).
About Foreign Identity Number Did you get your Turkish ID number? Foreigners residing in Turkey at least six months for any purpose receive a Foreigner Identification Number, which is different from the Turkish Identification Number.

Visit https://tckimlik.nvi.gov.tr/ Make an inquiry by either entering your Residence Permit Number (İkamet Tezkere no.: the number on the first page of your Residence Permit, e.g. 1-112233), or your personal information. Upon your inquiry, you will be given an 11 digit number generally starting with 99 upon. Take a print-out of this inquiry and submit it to the advisor who is responsible for your department in Registrar’s Office. There is a possibility that the inquiry may not give you a number, which means that you have not been assigned this number yet. In this case, you will need to go to the Turkish National Police/ Foreigners Unit (Ankara Emniyet Müdürlüğü/ Yabancılar Şubesi) to learn your Foreign National Identity Number. Once you obtain the number, submit it to the Registrar’s Office as instructed in (3) above.
