Nou hopelijk heeft de plaatselijke politie dit filmpje ook ontdekt op het internet,en aan de hand van zijn nummerplaat deze mafkees beboet!
welnee dat doen ze niet in Z.A.

I have seen SANParks officials do the same as this driver has done many times, as it is the only way to eventually scare off the bull elephant. This might even be a park official driving a private car or a person that has knowledge on elephant behaviour, as I believe there is very few people out there that just occasionally visit game reserves with the guts to stand down a musth elephant bull.
If you look closely at the side of the elephants head you will see dark streaks running from the temporal glands, this tell you this bull is in musth, meaning there is a testosterone overload in his body. This causes bull elephants to be very aggressive and they try and dominate everything. These bulls will then actively go after cars in a dominance display and will in extreme cases chase cars for kilometres down the road.
Not advised for anybody except an experienced ranger…but this bull in musth would certainly have charged if the driver had backed down. I just wonder how it happened that he got so close to the elephant that a show-down was inevitable? Also feel sorry for the cars that come afterwards - he will take out his frustration on them…
Of bovenstaand verhaal ook echt klopt weet ik natuurlijk niet, maar het klinkt heel logisch gezien dat deze kerel heel goed lijkt te weten wat ie doet en dat zijn auto uit Mpumalanga komt. En ook al zou het niet kloppen: Loop niet te janken. O boehoe het lieve olifantje wordt gepest! Hier de dierenvriend gaan lopen uithangen en straks een lekker stukje vleesch in de pan gooien. Hypocrisie ten top.

*Het Kruger park is een plek waar wilde dieren leven. Respect tonen naar elkaar is moeilijk blijkbaar, naar dieren nog minder. Waarom moest deze olifant opgeschrikt worden? De chauffeur had ook makkelijk meer ruimte kunnen maken toen de olifant naar hem toe kwam.
Heb ook een keer een idioot gezien, bleek een politieman te zijn die een olifant opjoeg. Was totaal geen enkele reden voor, heb hem gerapporteerd maar krijgt niet het idee dat er door Sanparks iets meer gedaan wordt.
Zaterdag lekker braaien 
Kudu wors is al klaar :beef: Maar goed, de volgende keer dat deze olifant een auto tegenkomt zal hij hoogst waarschijnlijk een negatieve associatie hebben met auto’s… Een ervaren ranger (heb het niet over een jeepjockey of cowboy) had dit beter aangepakt. Hij had bijv. de motor van zijn auto kunnen uitzetten. Maar door naar voren en achter te rijden ging hij de confrontatie maar wat graag aan.
