Nauwelijks zes weken na de première van de musical The Sound of Music heeft Theater de Efteling al het honderdduizendste kaartje verkocht. Vanwege het grote succes is besloten dat de voorstelling tot tenminste 12 april blijft staan. Voor de Kerstvakantie zijn extra voorstellingen gepland.
