Police in Mtwapa town in Kilifi county have arrested a German national and nine local women for allegedly stripping in a club in Mtwapa,Kilifi County.
According to police the ladies were arrested while dancing naked for clients at Bahnhof pub and restaurant situated along the Mombasa - Malindi highway.
Kilifi police boss Clement Wangai said their arrest followed complaints from area residents over indecent acts at the club owned by the a German national Ian Huthson
43 year–old Huthson was arrested alongside the women and arraigned at the Shanzu law court and charged for with engaging in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
He is currently in police custody after Shanzu chief prosecutor Paul Makonge requested the court to allow him more time to conduct further investigations.
The nine women each pleaded guilty to the charge of indecent exhibition.
The arrest comes barely a month after a Swiss national Christopher Clement Weissenrieder, and 11 women were arrested at an apartment in Nyali while allegedly shooting a pornographic video.
