Ha Noi —The International Conference on Promoting Vietnamese Literature was a new start for those who want to research and understand the culture of Viet Nam, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said at the opening ceremony in Ha Noi yesterday.

HCM CITY — Traffic infrastructure in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta improved greatly in the last four years following the implementation of a Government programme, the Ministry of Transportation said.
The road network, especially, has developed as laid out, according to Ngo Thinh Duc, transport deputy minister.
The airport network is well planned to ensure the region is closely connected with international airports. Airports are built evenly in key economic zones like Can Tho, Kien Giang, Ca Mau, and An Giang.

Immigration declaration to be abolished

In order to create favorable conditions for foreigners to Viet Nam, the Prime Minister has agreed to abolish the immigration declaration for all passengers when they do procedures of entry and exit at Vietnam’s international airports since September 15, 2010.
