Als vroegere backpacker die nu al 13 jaar in peru woont en alle tochten vrij duur vind ben ik op het idee gekomen om een speciale 5 daagse backpackertrip op te maken die gaat als volgt:

Five days, four nights Jungle Lodge Package
Day 1:
08:00 pick up airport
12:00 Departure slow-boat Titanic from Belenmarket to Tamishiyacu.
13:00 Lunch on slow-boat.
16:30 Arrival at Tamishiyacu.
17:00 With moto-taxis to Eagle River Lodge
17:30 Arrival at lodge
19:00 Dinner
20:00 relaxing.
Day 2:
08:00 Breakfast
09:30 Start of jungle hike
10:30 Arrival at peque-peque boat. We head out to Magdalena (Indian village).
13:00 Arrival in Magdalena . We have lunch here.
14:30 We start a two-hour jungle walk to the small village of Santa Ana .
16:30 Arrival at Santa Ana . We take a boat back to Tamishiyaku.
17:00 Arrival at lodge.
18:00 Dinner
After dinner: please take a refreshing swim in our private lake.
20.00 nightwalk
Day 3:
08:00 Breakfast
09:30 We take a forest walk to Tamishiyaku village.
10:30 Arrival Tamishiyaku. Here you will have about 1.5 hours to stroll through the village.
11:00 We take the moto-carro to La Quebrada where we will spend the afternoon besides the little river La Colpa for some nice swimming and a BBQ.

13:00 BBQ
15:00 We head back to the logde by moto-carros.
16:00 Arrival at lodge. You can check out the alligators in our alligator-pidge, have a swim in the lake our just hang in one of our comfortable hammocks to listen to the enchanting sounds from the jungle.

Day 4:
08:00 Breakfast
09:30 We take a short forest walk to the river. We will cross the river in little peque-peque boats to arrive in a small but real Indian village.
10:00 Arrival at village. Here the women, together with some Indian women, will clean vegetables and prepare a fire. The men will set out with some Indian men to fish. Our lunch pretty much depends on the ability of the men to catch some nice fish……don’t worry, they are in good hands.

16:00 We head back to the lodge

Day 5:

09:30 Moto-carro to town of Tamishiyaku
10:00 Departure by speedboat to Iquitos
11:00 Arrival at Iquitos
