Volkswagen bus te koop in Argentinie

Beste mensen,

Hello everybody!
Been driving my vw Van from Mexico, through whole Central America. And planning to drive all the way down to Argentina. It’s been going well so far, only had to buy some new tires.
This was initially not my plan, but it turned out to be. And I do not regret a second doing it! Driving through these countries is a very special adventure and you get to see and experience so much more. So for everybody who already playing with the idea…DO IT!
To drive with an old vw van with a Mexican plate instead of a nice four-wheel from the US, gives you some ( I think) advantages. Nobody really cares that much about your vehicle, it looks old, a bit rusty, and a Mexican plate. Probably just an poor Mexican who is visiting some friends down south ; ) But the most important, it’s so much easier finding spare parts and to actually fix some problems coming up.
I have really fallen in love with my lady T2 and it’s gonna be a hard time leaving her behind, but everything has to come to it’s end some day.
Here are some facts about my car, and what I’ve done with it, to make it able crossing this beautiful continent:
1990- VW-T2 Watercooled.
“Very happy having the T2 with water-cooler instead of the T1. Makes it possible for you to drive for 8-9 hours if you feel for it. The T1 gets to hot to fast in this region, and you will have to stop often and let it cool”
And also the engine is bigger and much stronger. Been having no problems going on roads, with high altitude, where it says just 4x4.
I bought it in Mexico, Guerrero and it’s use to be a taxi over there. It got some rost on some spots, but no big deal. I did not care about repainting it, because of what I mentioned above. it’s just pulls lot more attention to your car.
The engine is the diamond of this Lady and of course the most important. In total I put in 800 dollars just fixing the engine. After all the parts we changed, the engine was close to brand new. And also; New breaks, battery, water-pump, fan.
Because I’m been travelling by my self, and I’m very easygoing. I did not put in any effort to build in a bed or a kitchen. I sleep on a madras on the floor, and have a little barbecue I cook on.
But this is all possible and easy to do if you feel for when you are the new owner of her!
So if you have interest of doing a similar adventure, please feel free to contact me with any questions on maxmonsler@hotmail.com
The prize I’m asking for is 3500 $ (negotiable of course)
And I would like to sell it somewhere in Argentina, best choice would be Buenos Aires

Safe travels…Max
