A gang of 11 raided the Kilifi Bay Hotel last night, and broke into two rooms occupied by Polish visitors. I do not think anyone was hurt and there was no report of much being stolen as the security teams were very quick in responding and the gang ran away. They only got $25 and a few thousand shillings. There is more security here now and Police have improved a lot. They even re-arrested a coconut thief caught by our staff and took him to court after he had been let go free in December! So Ndaruiya and Safari are pleased their efforts were not wasted. There have been quite a lot of burglaries over at Mnarani, but not much here - yet, so we are on guard!
