Deze regel viel me op en hoopte dat ze bedoelen dat het voor cruiseboot passagiers bedoelt is en niet voor VOA.
Under Circular 90/2012/TT/BTC of the Ministry of Finance, the fee for issue of a one- time visa will be raised from US$25 to US$45 on January 1, 2013
ik heb meteen een mail gestuurd naar Viet Nam en kreeg het volgende antwoord.
Dear Mr. Ton,
Regarding Vietnam visa, it is exact that starting from 1 January 2013, visa to Vietnam will be charged with higher fees, according to a new regulation issued by the Ministry of Finance.
- For a single-entry visa will be increased from US$25 to $45
- For multi-entry visa will also be hiked (the current charges for the latter two periods are $50 and $100)

[li]US$65 for a period of less than one month[/li][li]US$95 for less than six months[/li][li]US$135 for a period of above six months.[/li][/ul]
It should be noted that the above fees are applied for visa on arrival which made at Vietnam border only. For visa which bought at VN Embassy in Netherlands or other countries, it will be charged differently based on local authority. And normally we are NOT informed about the changes. It will be updated when you check directly with VN Embassy in Netherlands.
Regarding pre-authorized approval letter, the fee is unchanged. It is different based on services of per agency.

Slecht nieuws dus voor mensen die vanaf januari met een VOA naar Viet Nam gaan.
Wat de kosten zijn voor een visum in den haag weet ik niet, maar er vandaag of morgen een mailtje aan wagen.
