We are a Belgian/Swiss family, with two three-lingual girls, who just turned 11 and 13. We have an international lifestyle, really a mix of American and European culture. We speak French and English at home, I speak Flemish with the kids. The girls go to the International School in St Germain en Laye, attend bilingual education (French and American). We live in the beautiful Western suburbs of Paris (20 min RER ride), and tons of woods around the house, suitable for biking and hiking. We are in a modern house, with a finished basement which has a room/bathroom and TV room for the au-pair. A car will be at your disposal during the week.
I am a full time working mom, with frequent business travel and my husband travels as well. We are looking for an open-minded, responsible person to provide a home for the girls after school, from 5pm to 8:30 pm and on Wednesday afternoon. Tasks include: ensure homework is done, occasional assistance with English homework, drive to activities, prepare healthy, simple evening meals, be there at night when mom and dad are both traveling. Light household tasks can be included too. Compensation package will depend on agreed tasks.

I have had au pairs when we were living in the US, we always had a good experience and the au-pairs liked living with us. We are a very active family, on the weekends we like to do outdoor activities, invite friends, go to Paris.
