Inderdaad.
RAJA AMPAT ARCHIPELAGO – GAM ISLAND
Abeautiful place for a stopover between Sulawesi and the Bird’s Head, is the accommodation on the island of Gam. This island is part of the Raja Ampat archipelago en is located a few hours outside the coast of the busy city of Sorong. The archipelago has recently been in the news because of the discovery of new species of fish in these tropical waters. The islands are truly paradise: covered with pristine forest and surrounded by extremely white beaches.
The protected ‘Marine Park Raja Ampat’ offers snorkelling or diving travellers a wide choice of sea life: dolphins, turtles, manta rays, pilot-whales and many more. On the island of Kri you can arrange diving trips with Papua Diving.
When staying with Maria at the losmen on Gam, consisting of an private bamboo bungalow on stilts in the sea, you have a beautiful view over the ocean. If you’re looking for paradise on earth, this is the place to be. With your stay you also contribute to the local Mother-and-Childcare project that is run solely by Maria and which has been supported by the SDSP for a long time.
For more information, Maria can be reached by phone. She does not speak English.

As far known, there are no fixed prices for a trip to Gam, but we think you should expect to pay at least Rp. 4.000.000 for a 4 days (3 nights) stay for 2 persons, including transport (by speedboat) , accommodation, 3 meals a day and 1 or 2 guided trips.
We advice you to explicitly agree on all the prices and other plans before you leave for Gam, to prevent misunderstandings or non-agreed change of prices.
Make sure you know what is included, what is not included, what you have to bring yourself, how your transport is arranged, etcetera./
