**BUG Review**
With around 200 beds, this is one of Tasmania’s biggest hostels. It is an older building and parts of the hostel feel a little tired but the common areas are well kept and it has a pretty good atmosphere. Facilities include a fully-equipped kitchen, a good TV lounge, internet access including Wi-Fi ($7 per hour; Mouse on Mars) plus a laundry. It has a very central location in the heart of Hobart’s city centre.

**BUG Review**
This is a new hostel in an old building. It has laundry facilities, a fully-equipped kitchen, TV lounge and internet access. The building shows its age and there are old mismatched furnishings in the common areas that make the hostel look a bit shabby but the dorms are clean enough and the en suite double rooms are in a nicer new building.

Narrara Backpackers is one of Hobart’s better hostels. It is relatively clean and well maintained although the building is starting to show its age. Facilities include a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry, a TV lounge and internet access. Accommodation is in clean tidy dorms and it has a good atmosphere.
