Hallo allemaal,
Mijn naam is Rafaela Puschel, en ik ben 22 jaar. Ik studeer Facility Management op de Hogeschool Zuyd in Heerlen, in de richting event & leisure.
Voor mijn 3e jaar (september 2013 t/m februari 2014) ben ik opzoek naar een buitenlandse stage. Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar een stage waar voornamelijk Engels gesproken wordt, maar ik sta open voor alles. Ik weet dat dit nogal breed gezocht is, maar mijn probleem is dat de stages die ik vindt allemaal via bemiddelingsbureau’s geregeld worden en dat de prijzen hiervoor hoog liggen. Ik moet echter alles zelf betalen (zoals velen studenten) en krijg geen hulp van mijn ouders. Dit maakt het voor mij heel moeilijk om een financieel haalbare stage in het buitenland te vinden.
De stage waar ik naar zoek moet vanuit mijn school aan een aantal eisen voldoen;
- Er moet de mogelijkheid zijn tot een eigen project/opdracht (deze wordt met het stagebedrijf afgesproken).
- De werkverdeling die bij mijn school aangehouden wordt is 50% meewerken in het bedrijf, 50% besteden aan de opdracht.
- Het moet een bedrijf in de event en/of leisure branche zijn.
De enige eis die ik heb is dat het financieel haalbaar moet zijn, ik hoef niet per se een betaalde stage als er bijvoorbeeld accommodatie verzorgd wordt.

Hi,
My name is Rafaela Puschel, and I’m 22 years old. I’m studying Facility Management at the Hogeschool Zuyd in Heerlen, in the direction events & leisure.
For my 3rd year (September 2013 till February 2014) I am looking for an internship abroad. My preference is for an internship where English is the main language, but I’m up for anything! I know this is rather wide searched, but my problem is that the internships that I find are agency’s with high prices. However, I must pay for everything myself (like many students) and I do not get help from my parents. This makes it very difficult for me to find an internship that I am capable to pay for myself.
The internship I am looking for has to meet a couple of requirements from school;
- There should be the possibility of a personal project / assignment ( The assignment will be decided by the company and the student).
- The division of labor which is being held at my school is 50% participation in the company, 50% spend on the assignment.
- It must be a company in the event and / or leisure industry.
The only requirement I have is that it must be financially achievable, I do not necessarily want a paid internship. Provided accommodation would be great too.
