Tijdens onze Vietnamreis gaan we in elk geval 1 keer binnenlands vliegen, namelijk van Saigon naar Hanoi.
Er zit nogal wat prijsverschil tussen Jetstar en Vietjet Airlines enerzijds (ca 20-50 Euro voor een enkeltje) vs Hahn Air systems/Vietnam Airlines anderzijds (ca 100-250 euro). Alle andere aanbieders zijn op dit moment nog veel duurder en vallen daardoor af als optie. Vietnam Airlines schijnt prima te zijn maar helaas dus aanzienlijk duurder dan Vietjet en Jetstar.
Qua prijs lijkt het dus logisch om te kiezen voor Jetstar of Vietjet (komt nog wel wat bij voor bagage/belasting/etc).
Echter als ik op deze maatschappijen zoek voor reviews schrik ik wel erg van de negatieve reacties! Vertragingen/bagage kwijt/geen service etc.
Hoe zijn jullie ervaringen met binnenlands vliegen in Vietnam en deze maatschappijen?
Geen ervaring met jetstar e.d, alleen met Vietnam airlines, maar heb je ook alle bijkomende kosten aan bagage ed bekeken? Reviews zijn inderdaad wel heeeel slecht.
Qua totale extra kosten valt dit echter nog mee, maakt het prijsverschil tussen Vietnam Airlines (voor 13 december van Ho Chi Minh naar Hanoi) nog niet verkeerd (ticket bij Vietnam Airlines is dan ca €180 duurder). De vraag is alleen nog steeds of dit wel opweegt tegen de eventuele slechte ervaringen met Vietjet…
Ik heb net even gekeken bij Vietnamairlines en een ticket voor 13-12 kost voor 2 personen 148 Euro ( 3670000 VND ) incl. tax en bagage tot 20 kg.
Bij Viet Air kom ik uit op 105 Euro, incl. tax, maar zonder de bagage toeslag, dan valt het dus nog reuze mee met het verschil.
Kan je toch nog overwegen om met VA te vliegen misschien?
Ton, dank voor de tip! Deze prijzen lagen bij diverse vergelijkingssites waar ik had gekeken behoorlijk hoger, ging er vanuit dat die het laagst waren. Voortaan dus ook maar op de sites van de vliegmaatschappijen zelf kijken…
Heb nu dus met VA geboekt voor 144 Euro in totaal. Was dat anders echt zo veel duurder geweest, had ik obv de reacties (ook op andere sites) toch voor Vietjet of Jetstar gekozen; rekening houdende met dat dat budget maatschappijen zijn en het dus kan tegenzitten onderweg overleef je dat ook wel ;).
Jetstar gaat nog als maatschappij, maar Vietjet Air? Deze maatschappij is een beschamende vertoning. Helemaal als je de leveringsvoorwaarden er nog eens bijhaalt. Ik zou het advies doen NIET met Vietjet Air te vliegen. Behalve urenlange vertragingen is cancellen van een vlucht de dood normaalste zaak van de wereld. Het is het predicaat “budget airline” niet waard. en als er een vlucht gecancelled is? Een refund kan 3 weken duren of langer. Dat is voor een Vietnamees of resident nog niet zo erg. Probeer het maar eens terug te krijgen in Nederland. Mag je als klant de overboekingskosten ook nog zelf op hoesten. Hoorde ik in 1 geval.
10.3. Disclaimer about flight cancellation and schedule change under the regulations:
We are limited or excluded from liability for flight cancellation and schedule change in the following cases:
a. Climate conditions affects to safe operation of aircrafts
b. Security risks affecting to safe operation of aircrafts
c. Flights cannot take off since orders of the authorities
d. Due to medical problems of passengers (serious sickness or death after boarding the aircrafts)
e. The flight schedule is destroyed and aircrafts are destroyed
f. Armed conflicts, political unrests, strike affecting to the flights
g. Aviation infrastructure structure, operation services not endure to the flights
h. Technical faults occurring in safe operation of aircrafts, beginning from the captain of aircrafts signed and received the aircraft ready for flight until to the end of flight.
i. Passengers are arranged to the departure country as scheduled by another flight not over 04 houses comparing to the expected flight schedule.
j. Passengers are arranged to the departure country as scheduled by another flight not over 06 houses comparing to the expected flight connecting schedule in case that the place of arrival as scheduled is a the flight connecting in passenger’s journey.
k. Passengers are not present in airport to check in other places as our agreement.
l. Passengers voluntarily refuses seat confirmation.
m. We prove one of followings cases:
We informed orally, by messages, email to passengers on flight cancellation, or delay at least 24 hours before departing hour under the address provided by passenger; in case we called within from 07: am to 10:00 pm, about 20 minutes from the first call but we do not contact;
Passengers do not register the contact information as regulations;
We do not contact with passengers in according to information registered by passengers

En dan deze ! 11.2. Involuntary refunds: In the event of flight cancellation, or delay with the delay time within our planned Policy and in accordance with the Flight delay or cancellation specified in Civil Aviation Act and concerned circulars, decrees, etc., passengers may choose to receive refund in credit refund voucher, cash or via bank transfer. Cash refunds are made at our authorized agents and at our designated travel offices or to bank account provided by the passengers.
Ze zullen je weigeren een cash refund te doen. Dat is als tourist ERG LASTIG !
