Au pair agency with Dutch Management, placing young people from Europe with families in Britain for a change to earn & learn in a family environment. Our agency places mostly female candidates from German, Sweden and France. Our MD is on the board of the British Au Pair Agencies Association and member of BETA (British Educational Travel Association) and CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing). The au pair agency opened in 2006 and is already a market leader continuing to grow in a competitive market and a challenging economic situation.What are we looking for?The ideal candidate has a passion for language, travel and cultural exchange. We need good/fluent English and at least one other European language and good communication skills. An interest in Marketing and Customer Service or Recruitment would be beneficial. You need to be a ‘people’s person’ and have the confidence to communicate on the phone. You need to be a self starter, happy to work in a small team and take on responsibilities ranging from simple admin to challenging projects with critical deadlines. We need a non-smoker. What is the role?The role is split between day-to-day running of the agency and the strategic marketing ensuring continuous growth. You will be involved and gradually be given responsibility for certain tasks such as:• Preparation of au pair profiles to be presented to prospective host families• Recruitment of new European au pairs for the program, including conducting interviews• Liaison with European agencies about their candidates• Liaison with host families• Marketing to au pairs (pan-European)• Marketing to host families (UK)• Marketing B2B to find new European partner agenciesAs our MD is an experienced marketing professional, you will get a chance to learn about many different methods of marketing.
