The additional aircraft will enable the airline to operate a Bangkok-Phrae route and also boost reliability on established routes. The airline is currently operating four routes with 12 flights a week but with just aircraft.
Solar Air wants to increase frequency on the routes to Nan and Mae Sot.
The carrier will operate twice weekly service between Don Mueang Airport and Phrae (ex-Bangkok, on Friday and Sunday and ex-Phrae, Monday and Friday). The roundtrip fare is Bt2,590, valid until 6 February, next year.
Other destinations include: Roi-Et (three weekly); Nan (three weekly); Mae Sot (four weekly) and Lampang (twice weekly).
