Van 24 tot 30 september wordt het geluid van de golven op de stranden van Koh Samui vermengd met Jazz. Het internationale Jazzfestival beloofd een groots spektakel te worden met meer dan 100 nationale en internationale muzikanten die hun muziek op de stranden van Bophut, Chawaeng and Lamai ten gehore zullen brengen en dat geheel gratis!
BANGKOK, 7 September, 2010 – Samui International Jazz Music Festival 2010 will be held at three locations on Samui Island, 24 to 30 September.
The three main concert zones will have 11 performance stages with 42 music sessions
The three zones are: Fisherman village (25 and 28 September); Chaweng beach (26 and 29 September) and Lamai beach (27 and 30 September) in Bophut sub-district.

“Apart from bringing jazz music to the island, it will help to support local talent.” said Samui International Music festival director, Santi Wongsawat, noting it would also lift Samui tourism during the low-season month of September.
This is the 9th edition of the music festival and this time round it has won the support of Bangkok Airways which is promoting packages through its Bangkok Travel Club.
