Hutong School is hosting a webinar on China with a focus on the shift in China’s role on the global scene through the intensifying of innovation and development in recent years. The webinar will also discuss possible job opportunities for those interested in working in China.
Hutong School is a Mandarin language school and Internship provider based in China. Founded in 2005 it has welcomed more than 8,000 students since its opening. The school is an officially accredited language school, with locations in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Hangzhou. The webinar will be given by Mr. Jan Wostyn, Sinologist and Economist, Managing Director of Hutong School, with over 15 years of China experience.
Through a summary of the most important events in China’s recent history since the 1840s, the participants will gain an understanding of the cultural and historic dynamics of China’s role past and present in a global context. This understanding will lead to an analysis of China’s current situation as a powerhouse for innovation, as well as an outlook on future developments and implications for those of us interested in working with or in China.*
