Ik heb hier in 2010 3 nachten overnacht. Op loop afstand van de “fountain”, Kob Chai Der (restaurant) en de Mekong. Op de hoek zit een kleine supermarkt en Europcar auto en scooter verhuur bedrijf. Voor motorfietsen, tegenover Kob Chai Der bij Jules ([www.bike-rental-laos.com](http://www.bike-rental-laos.com)). Leuk restaurant aan de Mekong, groot en gezellig druk, is Kong View (richting airport, iets voorbij Novotel naar links)

Mixay Gueshouse en Mixay Paradise (zelfde eigenaar, zelfde prijzen en slechts 1 straat van elkaar verwijderd) is een goed guesthouse.
Het zit vlakbij Wat Mixay (dat weten tuktuk chauffeurs en andere mensen).
Prima hostel en erg zuiver. Ontbijt is inclusief (scheelt weer 10.000 tot 20.000 Kip).
