# Verklaring rondom religie

Hallo allemaal,

Op de site van de nederlandse ambassade staat onderstaande tekst.  
Is er iemand die weet hoe en waar je een dergelijke verklaring aanvraagt?

'Due to new regulations from the Egyptian government it is obligatory to submit to them a statement stating your religion when you want to get married.  
The statement should be translated in Arabic and the documents should be legalized by the Egyptian embassy in The Hague.  
The Netherlands embassy cannot mention your religion in the certificate of not being married neither can it legalize the above mentioned statement.  
Please note that Egyptian law only recognizes the following religions: Islam, Christianity and Judaism. ’
