Hoi, In sydney heb ik de eerste keer in Eva’s backpackers geslapen [http://www.evasbackpackers.com.au/](http://www.evasbackpackers.com.au/) . Wel wat duurder maar ik vind het een erg fijn hostel om te beginnen. Niet te groot, gezellig en rustig. 15 minuutjes lopen van het Opera House. Staat ook in de lonely planet voor als je wat meer wil lezen. Daar staan er trouwens heel veel in. Een aanrader om mee te nemen. ---

Hoi Eva, Wij hebben twee keer geslapen in het YWCA (Y on the park) Wentworth Ave. Dit ligt redelijk centraal, tegenover het Hyde park. Chinatown is om de hoek. Harbour is ca 20 minuten lopen. Metro ligt op de hoek. Prijzen redelijk dorm kamer 30-40AU$. Onze ervaring is dat je er altijd wel wat aanspraak hebt. Douche en toilet waren altijd schoon. Alvast prettige vakantie GRZ Wim ---

Ik ga backpacken in Nieuw Zeeland maar eerst verblijf ik een paar dagen in Sydney (als ik toch in de buurt ben wil ik die stad wel eens even zien). Ik zoek een rustig hostel (liefst niet te duur en niet te ver uit het centrum) om bij te komen van een eventuele jetlag en als uitvalsbasis om de stad in een paar dagen te bekijken. Dus absoluut geen feesthostel, niet al te groot, in een niet al te drukke buurt, waar ik 's nachts zo goed mogelijk kan slapen! 🙂 Het zou fantastisch zijn als jullie wat tips hebben! ---

Beste Marije, Sydney heeft veel hostels een aantal grote zijn Xbase dit is centrum en druk, Wake Up (ook centrum maar meerdere malen uitgeroepen tot beste hostel), Maze (druk). Verder heb je heel veel kleine hostels waar je uit kunt kiezen. Zoals je richting wijken gaat als Surrey Hills, Glebe, Broadway zul je al snel in een rustigere wijk en hostel komen.
