Ik had verwacht dat iemand eveneens iets over die boom zou vermelden als antwoord maar goed, ik bleef met m’n vraag algemeen om niet direct de link te leggen met “Robin Hood’s Tree” – “Sycamore Gap” want
In de film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves werden er opnames gemaakt bij de Muur van Hadrianus, in deze scène komt Robin net terug uit het Heilige Land met zijn kompaan Azeem. Toevallig staat er bij deze muur een boom die de naam Robin Hood’s Tree draagt.

@Stancy: leuk! Bij het googlen op Hadrian’s Wall zag ik gelijk ook die boom maar ik kon niet ontdekken of de boom op jouw foto Sycamore Gap was. Hij deed me gelijk denken aan Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, want die film vind ik zo goed, die heb ik wel 20 keer gezien :-D. Maar had niet uitgezocht of dat dezelfde boom was.
