# 3 remaining white rhinos in Kenya

The three remaining northern white rhinos on Ol Pejeta, an elderly male and two females are to be used to produce embryos by **in vitro fertilisation** as an attempt to s **ave the species from extinction**. Money for the project (Shs.900 million was mentioned) is being raised through the dating app Tinder, and supporters include Richard Branson and Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey. It is interesting that the rhino sanctuaries have been safe so far from the trespassing by Pokot and Samburu in Laikipia.
